Di era VUCA  yaitu sebuah jaman  di mana perubahan sangat cepat, tidak terduga, dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor yang sulit dikontrol, dan kebenaran serta realitas menjadi sangat subyektif. Untuk menghadapi era ini selain kesiapan mental, juga harus ditunjang dengan  kompetensi teknologi informasi, Digital yang mumpuni.

SDIT Insan Mandiri Jakarta, menangkap tantangan jaman itu dengan menyiapkan karakter dan kompetensi yang diperlukan para murid dijamannya. Salah satunya menyelengarakan ekskul komputer Coding Club.

Saat belajar coding for kids anak dapat  memahami konsep algoritma sederhana dan memecahkan masalah, sehingga dapat memberikan bekal kompetensi di bidang teknologi informasi  sebagai  kemampuan yang akan bermanfaat di masa yang akan datang.

Menurut Dhani Cahyo Ardhi, ST, M.Kom, Guru TIK dan sekaligus Kepala Laboratorium komputer  Insan Mandiri Jakarta, “Pembelajaran Coding for kids adalah sebuah pembelajaran yang erat kaitannya dengan beberapa pelajaran lain seperti matematika, sains, engineering, art dan teknologi (STEAM), selain itu Jadi belajar coding ini sangat erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan sehari hari. Anak-anak bisa berpikir secara sistematis, detail dan mereka juga bisa memecahkan masalah”.

“Di era digital dan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat profesi programmer atau developer perangkat lunak tengah menjadi primadona sebagian orang.  Oleh karena itu jika coding dikenalkan lebih dini pada anak-anak, akan membantu mempersiapkan generasi masa depan yang siap menjawab tantangan jaman”, jelas Dhani.

SDIT Insan Mandiri Jakarta memberi kesempatan pada murid untuk dapat belajar secara menyenangkan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, mereka juga dapat berkolaborasi bersama teman serta mendapatkan ruang untuk berkarya, menuangkan ide ke dalam bentuk permainan seru, selain itu mereka diberikan kesempatan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri menampilkan hasil karya mereka.
