Setu, Bekasi — Gerakan Literasi Sekolah adalah sebuah gerakan dalam upaya menumbuhkan budi pekerti siswa yang bertujuan agar siswa memiliki budaya membaca dan menulis sehingga tercipta pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Kegiatan rutin ini dilaksanakan untuk menumbuhkan minat baca peserta didik serta meningkatkan keterampilan mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis.
Untuk meningkatkan kompetensi literasi, GLS SMPIT Insan Mandiri Greenville Setu, Bekasi mengirimkan tiga orang guru dan enam orang siswa untuk mengikuti TALENTA (Tantangan Literasi Nusantara) 2023 yang diadakan oleh GLN (Gerakan Literasi Nasional) Gareulis Jabar. Peserta TALENTA dari SMPIT IMG, yaitu: Ustazah Titi Rosdiana, S.Pd. sebagai ketua GLS, Ustad Asraffun Zuam Maulana, S.Pd. sebagai sekretaris, Ustazah Dini Siti Ramsari, S.Pd. sebagai bendahara, dan Ahmad Musthofaynal Akhyar, Fitrah Izzati, Muhammad Al Ghazi Toana, Muhammad Umar Alfatih, Adlan Wirzison, dan Faris Auliya Muhammad.
Talenta merupakan salah satu upaya dalam pengembangan Literasi di Jawa Barat. Tahun ini Talenta, memperluas cakupannya ke seluruh wilayah Indonesia dari Sabang hingga merauke. Peserta Talenta berasal dari GLS (Gerakan Literasi Sekolah/Madrasah), GLK (Gerakan Literasi Keluarga dan GLM (Gerakan Literasi Masyarakat). Program ini berlangsung selama sepuluh bulan, yakni dari bulan Maret sampai Desember 2023.
“Keikutsertaan GLS SMPIT Insan Mandiri Greenville untuk pertama kalinya dalam program Talenta ini mendapat dukungan dari banyak pihak, terutama kepala sekolah dan waka kurikulum, guru dan juga siswa. Dalam sepuluh bulan kami harus menyelesaikan sepuluh tantangan literasi yaitu: Membaca dan Mengulas (Membaca dan Mengulas 10 Buku Bebas, Membaca dan Mengulas 2 Buku Wajib, Membaca dan Mengulas 5 Majalah, Membaca Al Quran), Menulis (Menulis 4 Pantun, Menulis 4 Puisi, Menulis 1 Cerpen, Menulis 1 Carpon, Menulis Kaligrafi, dan Best Practice Guru), Mendongeng (Dongeng Nusantara dan Dongeng Keagamaan), Membuat Video Literasi (Kegiatan Literasi, Testimoni Talenta, dan Permainan Daerah), Membuat Diorama Dunia Baca, Diklat Literasi, Instrumen Literasi (Minat Baca, Literasi, Numerasi, dan Survei Karakter), Penerbitan Buku, Kunjungan Ke Perpustakaan, serta Pameran Literasi,” ujar Titi Rosdiana, Waka Kurikulum SMPIT IMG. Lalu lanjutnya, “Di akhir Oktober ini sudah 80% tugas-tugas Talenta diselesaikan oleh guru dan murid. Kami pun sudah menyelesaikan satu buku kumpulan dan satu buku pribadi.Mohon doanya agar bisa selesai sesuai target.”
Kepala SMPIT IMG, Ustad Anwar Soleh mengatakan, “Tiga orang guru dan enam orang siswa yang ditugaskan untuk mengikuti tantangan ini sudah mulai mengirimkan karyanya, Alhamdulillah semua antusias mengikuti. Semoga bisa menyelesaikan semua tantangan tepat pada waktunya. Semangat tinggal 2 bulan lagi. Sejauh ini semua sudah berjuang memberikan yang terbaik untuk sekolah kami tercinta.” (Titi Rosdiana, S.Pd.)***
