Zakat, khususnya Zakat fitrah merupakan kewajiban umat Islam yang ditunaikan di hari-hari terakhir bulan Ramadhan. Perintah Allah ini sarat akan hikmah, diantaranya mensucikan diri dan menyempurnakan ibadah Ramadhan.
Guna memupuk kesadaran berzakat sejak dini, SDIT Insan Mandiri Kalisari menggelar program “Kecil-Kecil Sadar Zakat”
Kegiatan yang digelar pada tanggal 6 April 2023 ini, diawali dengan sesi edukasi Zakat secara klasikal, di mana para murid mendapat informasi tentang pengertian Zakat, Urgensi berzakat, Tata cara menunaikan Zakat, dan orang-orang yang berhak mendapatkan Zakat.
Setelah sesi edukasi, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan praktik menunaikan Zakat.
Di Sesi ini, Sekolah memberdayakan kelas 6 sebagai petugas penerima Zakat Fitrah, Infaq, sedekah. Sebelumnya para petugas telah dilatih oleh guru, dan tetap dipantau guru selama bertugas.
Petugas menerima zakat dari kelas 6, melayani adik-adik kelasnya yg ingin menitipkan pembayaran Zakat Fitrah di sekolah,
Pada kegiatan ini telah terkumpul dari Muzaki atau wajib Zakat, uang sebesar Rp 5.335.000 dan beras sebanyak 7 kg.
Kepala SDIT Insan Mandiri Kalisari, Tri Rachma Nurullita, S.Th.I, M.Pd mengapresiasi dan mengucapkan terima kasih kepada petugas dan wajib zakat yang telah ikhlas berpartisipasi menyukseskan program “Kecil-Kecil Sadar Zakat”
“ Semoga dengan program yang digelar rutin setiap tahun ini, dapat mengokohkan kesadaran menunaikan Zakat di dalam diri peserta didik, sejak kecil dan berlanjut hingga dewasa nanti. Adapun para petugas penerima Zakat dari kelas 6, menjadi bagian dari pembelajaran dan semoga menjadi pengalaman berkesan, kelak mereka bisa saja menjadi amil zakat yang sesungguhnya di masyarakat”.
