Parung, Bogor (25/11) — SMPIT Insan Mandiri Parung, Jum’at 11 November 2022 lalu mengunjungi pameran buku yg bertahap internasional yang dihelat oleh Indonesia Internasional Book Fair di Hall B Jakarta Convention Center 9-13 November 2022, mengusung tema Empowering Creative People in a Creative Way.
Seluruh siswa mengikuti kegiatan ini di bimbing oleh wali kelas masing-masing. Merurut Kepala Sekolah SMPIT Insan Mandiri Parung, “Kegiatan perjalanan edukasi ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi dan minat baca siswa”.
Pameran ini meranik minat siswa karena diikuti oleh puluhan penerbit dari beberapa negara, seperti negara Arab Saudi, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam dll. Buku- buku yang di pamerkan buku- buku yang sedang trend di negara-negara peserta.
IIBF adalah pusat kegiatan promosi, transaksi, diskusi, dan interaksi internasional bagi kalangan penerbit, penulis, pustakawan, aktivis literasi, seni, budaya, dan pendidikan, serta pelaku industri kreatif. IIBF juga merupakan ikhtiar “Meningkatkan minat baca di kalangan masyarakat, sebagai bagian dari gerakan literasi dan pencerdasan bangsa,” kata Ketua Umum Ikapi, Arys Hilman Nugraha.
Mengunjungi pameran buku adalah wadah yang tepat untuk mendapatkan inspirasi. Pikiran akan menjadi lebih segar melihat orang-orang yang memiliki hobi membaca. Semoga siswa mendapat semangat baru untuk menjadikan buku sebagai jendela dunia. (Eliya Masri)
