Jam menunjukkan pukul 08.00,  rombongan SMPIT Insan Mandiri Greenville tiba di gerbang  Rumah Ceria Yatim Seribu Pulau Berlokasi di Ciledug, Kecamatan Setu Kabupaten Bekasi Jawa Barat.

Sambutan hangat kami dapatkan  dari pengurus dan para santri, tuan rumah mempersilahkan dan menerima rombongan  di pendopo. Kegiatan ini merupakan bakti sosial kelas IX SMPIT Insan Mandiri Greenville didampingi oleh guru guru.

Tak hanya berkunjung, Siswa Kelas IX menampilkan hadroh dipersembahkan untuk tuan rumah para santri dan pengasuhnya. Selain itu siswa menyerahkan buah tangan berupa sembako.

Selanjutnya Rombongan diajak untuk mengunjungi sentra industri rumahan, Rumah Ceria Yatim Seribu Pulau selain belajar agama juga memfokuskan diri mendidik anak-anak yang tinggal di dalamnya untuk berjiwa entrepreneur dengan membuat sentra  pembuatan tempe,  mie sehat dan peternakan kambing.

Pada sentra pembuatan mie sehat, anak anak diikutkan secara aktif dalam prosesnya. Menyiapkan bahan, proses pembuatan dan menyiapkan makanan yang sudah siap disantap. Guru dan anak anak dapat menikmati hasilnya secara langsung.

Kunjungan  sosial dan edukatif  ini kami lakukan untuk memupuk rasa kepedulian dan sayang terhadap sesama. Insya Allah acara ini akan bisa terus dilanjutkan.
