Sebagai Pendidik atau bahkan orangtua, pasti banyak di antara kita yang ingin menanamkan praktik berbagi kepada anak. Kita sadari bahwa terkadang sifat mementingkan diri-sendiri menjadi bagian dari hidup kita. Sebagian lagi akhirnya menyadari bahwa ada hal lain yang lebih penting selain sifat mementingkan diri itu. Ia disebut berbagi; sebuah sikap yang mendasari seseorang untuk tidak menguasai sendiri sesuatu yang dimilikinya dan menyisihkan sebagiannya untuk orang lain. Hal inilah, yang dipraktikkan langsung oleh murid-murid SDIT Insan Mandiri Kalisari (SDIT IMK). Selepas pawai menyambut tahun baru Islam 1440 H pada Senin (10/9), mereka praktik saling berbagi makanan. Menurut Ust. Muhammad Afif Robbani, salahsatu guru SDIT IMK praktik berbagi makanan ini menjadi pembiasaan sejak dini dan terus dibudayakan di sekolah.
“Jadi, anak-anak membawa bekal makanan lebih. Nah, kemudian mereka membagikan ke teman-teman sekelasnya bahkan ke kelas lain,” jelas Ust Afif.
Apa yang diutarakan oleh Ust Afif adalah hal yang penting dan positif bagi anak. Mereka akan memiliki pengalaman yang tak akan terlupa dan terus tumbuh untuk saling berbagi. Pengalaman hidup kita sebagai orang-orang dewasa juga memberikan informasi tersendiri betapa kita tidak ingin membesarkan anak-anak kita untuk menjadi manusia-manusia egois yang tak tahu berbagi dengan sesama. Baik di lingkungan kantor maupun pergaulan, orang-orang dengan kadar egois yang tinggi selalu jadi bahan pergunjingan yang tiada habis-habisnya.
Tak heran jika sebagai pendidik atau orangtua, kita ingin sekali sedini mungkin menanamkan praktik berbagi kepada anak kita. Kita khawatir akan lebih sulit lagi mengajarkannya jika mereka beranjak remaja apalagi dewasa. Kita semakin khawatir lagi jika gejala-gejala tak mau berbagi itu sudah semakin terlihat pada anak kita; umpamanya saja ketika sedang arisan keluarga, di mana anak kita berkumpul bersama sepupu sebayanya lalu anak kita tertangkap mata oleh kita tak mau berbagi mainan dengan saudaranya. Kita tentu cemas.
Nah, Marilah sejak dini kita biasakan mereka untuk terus berbagai dengan teman-temannya. Berikan contoh dan dukungan positif atas perilaku berbagi yang telah dilakukannya. Seperti yang dilakukan oleh guru-guru SDIT Insan Mandiri Kalisari. Bahkan, bisa saja orangtua merencanakan dari rumah, makanan atau suatu yang akan dibagi ke orang lain. Tujuannya adalah menumbuhkan jiwa berbagi buat anak. Anak akan terus memiliki karakter unik: dermawan. Subhanallah!
