Parung, Bogor.- Di setiap pekannya, SMPIT Insan Mandiri Parung Mengadakan kegiatan mentoring yang merupakan  program khusus sekolah. Mentoring ini adalah salah satu kegiatan untuk mengembangkan karakter positif dan meningkatkan wawasan dari inspirasi yang disampaikan mentor.

Mentoring adalah kegiatan penanaman nilai-nilai Islam  dan karakter dalam kelompok kecil, dimana satu guru  membimbing kelompok yang beranggota sekitar 10 siswa. Dalam kegiatan tersebut, guru memberikan pembekalan pendidikan akhlak, adab serta  pengetahuan keIslaman.

Untuk pembentukan karakter kepemimpinan, siswa dilibatkan untuk mengambil peran dalam kegiatan mentoring seperti Menjadi MC, membaca Kisah Nabi atau Hadits Riyadhus Salihin dan Doa Robithoh. Peran ini dilakukan secara bergantian di setiap pendampingan. Hal ini dilakukan agar siswa terbiasa berbicara di depan umum atau orang lain dan memiliki kepercayaan diri yang baik.

Proses pembentukan karakter religius melalui kegiatan mentoring dilaksanakan menggunakan metode ceramah, pembiasaan positif dan keteladanan yang dikemas dalam kegiatan yang menyenangkan. Materi yang diajarkan dalam kegiatan mentoring di SMPIT Insan Mandiri Parung yaitu materi 10 muwashofat, dan masing-masing dari materi tersebut mengandung nilai religius.10 Muwashafat (10 karakter) yang diajarkan yakni :

  1. SALIMUL AQIDAH(Akidah yg bersih)
  2. SHAHIHUL ‘IBADAH (Ibadah yang benar)
  3. MATINUL KHULUQ (Akhlak yang kokoh)
  4. QADIRUN ‘ALAL KASBI ( Mampu berusaha sendiri )
  5. MUTSAQAFUL_FIKRI ( Pemikirannya luas dan berwawasan )
  6. QAWIYUL JISMI (Kuat fisiknya)
  7. LINAFSIHIIDUN (Selalu menjaga hawa nafsunya )
  8. MUNAZHAM FI SYU’UNIHI ( Teratur semua urusannya )
  9. HARITSUN ‘ALA WAQTIHI ( Selalu menjaga waktunya/ disiplin )
  10. NAFIUN LIGHAIRIHI ( Bermanfaat bagi orang lain )

Dengan diadakannya program mentoring ini, di harapkan terbentuk karakter religus, shahihul ibadah(ibadah yang benar) dan akhlak yang baik. Aamiin Yaa Rabbal’alaamin. (Eliya Masri)
