Setu, Bekasi, 10/3 – Hari Jum’at adalah hari yang ditunggu oleh murid, selain sebagai hari yang penuh berkah, hari ini saatnya beraksi dalam giat Market day yang digelar sepekan sekali.
Setiap pekannya sebanyak 25 murid dari kelas I sampai kelas VI bergiliran untuk praktek langsung berjualan hasil karyanya tentunya dengan bimbingan orangtuanya, produknya berupa hasil kreasi makanan dan minuman sehat.
Selain berjualan, keasyikkan market day ini, murid menjadi senang karena banyak pilihan makanan dan minuman yang bisa mereka beli dan nikmati.
Market day merupakan salah satu contoh aplikasi pendidikan terintegrasi kewirausahaan yang melibatkan semua peserta didik dalam proses produksi, distribusi, dan konsumsi.
Kegiatan produksi adalah dengan memberikan tanggung jawab kepada murid berdasarkan kelas secara bergantian untuk membuat produk yang memiliki nilai jual, dilanjutkan dengan menjual produk sebagai proses distribusi. Sedangkan murid yang lain, termasuk guru berperan sebagai konsumen (pembeli).
Tentu, yang menjadi tujuan akhir kegiatan ini untuk mendidik dan mengembangkan jiwa entrepreneur sekaligus dalam rangka peguatkan karakter. (Yuyun)
