Markaz Al-Qur’an pada Ahad, 15 November 2015 pagi didatangi lebih dari 100 orang tua yang ingin menjadi favorit buat buah hatinya. Ya, hari itu digelar Kajian Parenting bertajuk ‘Menjadi Orang Tua Favorit’ hasil kerjasama Insan Mandiri Kalisari, Khansa EO dan Markaz Al-Quran. Sebagai pembicara, H. Karim Santoso, S.Pd, M.Si yang kini menjabat sebagai Ketua Yayasan Insan Mandiri Mulia itu tampil memukau peserta dengan segudang pengalamannya menangani kasus anak mulai dari TK hingga perguruan tinggi.

“Sebagai orang tua kita harus yakin bahwa menjadi orang tua itu ‘gampang banget’. Keyakinan kita ini menjadi doa sehingga Allah mempermudah kita menjadi orang tua hebat yang akhirnya menjadi teladan favorit bagi buah hati kita” ungkapnya meyakinkan peserta yang sebagian merasa bahwa menjadi orang tua itu sulit. Karim berhasil membuka wawasan dan kesadaran peserta yang sebagian besar didominasi ibu-ibu tersebut bahwa menjadi orang tua hebat harus terus belajar. Menurut ayah satu anak yang kini tengah menyelesaikan gelar Doktornya di UIN Jakarta ini, keikhlasan, kreatifitas dan improvisasi sangat diperlukan orang tua dalam mendampingi buah hatinya. “Berhenti menyalahkan diri sendiri atas kesalahan-kesalahan masa lalu. Kita dapat mengubah hari kemarin, tetapi hari esok dapat menjadi hari yang hebat bagi kita sebagai orang tua.” Tangkasnya.

Acara Kajian Parenting ditutup oleh Abdul Hakim, S.Kom, MM menjelang adzan Zuhur berkumandang. Kepala SMPIT Insan Mandiri Kalisari ini berhasil membuat suasana berubah menjadi haru dengan lantunan do’a yang dipimpinnya. Alhasil, beberapa ibu muda terlihat menitikkan air mata melengkapi kesadaran amanah besar sebagai orang tua yang belum penuh dijalankan.
