Kalisari Jakarta — Salah satu program SMPIT Insan Mandiri Kalisari Jakarta Adalah pembelajaran di luar kelas. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di luar kelas diaplikasikan dalam kegiatan Outing Class yang rutin diselenggarakan dalam setiap tahun.
Tujuan dari kegiatan Outing Class tersebut adalah memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran secara langsung dengan berada di lingkungan masyarakat. Selain itu, peserta didik dalam kegiatan Outing Class dapat mengenal lingkungan sekitar atau bisa juga mengenal lingkungan yang lebih luas dari lingkungan peserta didik. Dengan begitu, peserta didik bisa mendapatkan pemahaman betapa perlunya kita memperluas pengetahuan dengan mengunjungi dan mempelajari dengan cara melihat langsung.
Pada kegiatan Outing Class sebelumnya kami pernah mengunjungi pabrik Yakult di Sukabumi dan juga mengunjungi museum di kota tua. Pada kegiatan Outing Class kali ini, kami mengunjungi pabrik Pocari Sweet di Sukabumi.
Peserta didik diajak berkeliling pabrik untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan minuman pocari sweet serta mendapatkan penjelasan bahan apa saja yang ada pada minuman pocari sweet. Selain itu, peserta didik juga diajak mengikuti permainan ringan.
Diakhir kegiatan kunjungan kami mendapatkan suvenir berupa produk dari PT Amerta Indah Otsuka yang diantaranya yaitu minuman pocari sweet.
Kegiatan Outing Class kami diakhiri menuju di alun-laun Cicurug Sukabumi. Selain untuk rehat dan ibadah, di alun alun Cicurug Sukabumi peserta didik dapat mengenal tempat-tempat yang baru sambil refresing.
Semoga kegiatan Outing Class ini memberikan pengalaman baru serta wawasan tambahan bagi peserta didik. (Ahmad).
