Menjadi pemimpin tentu menjadi mimpi sebagian besar orang. Kepemimpinan bukan hanya suatu konsep yang bersifat teoritis saja, namun juga merupakan proses pembelajaran langsung. Menumbuhkan jiwa kepemimpinan sejak dini perlu dilatih. Atas dasar inilah SMPT Insan Mandiri Parung menggelar Pesta Demokrasi menumbuhkan kepemimpinan melalui OSIS. Ajang pemilihan Ketua & Wakil OSIS ini menurut Kepala SMPIT Insan Mandiri Parung, Luthfi Zulkarnain, S.Th.I, M.Si adalah proses mempersiapkan pemimpin masa depan.
” Ajang Pemilihan Pengurus OSIS ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang bisa membangun semangat dan jiwa kepemimpinan serta kebersamaan yang kuat. Dimulai dari proses pendaftaran dan kampanye dari masing-masing pasangan calon. Setelah satu bulan proses pengenalan dan sosialisasi, terjaring 2 pasangan calon dari masing masing yang akan berkompetisi menjadi Ketua dan Wakil OSIS SMPIT Insan Mandiri Parung Tahun Pelajaran 2018-2019,” jelas Luthfi.
Menurut Luthfi, pasangan calon utusan santri laki-laki adalah Syamil-Zamzam yang langsung berhadapan dengan Zufar-Ayyash. Sementara pasangan calon utusan santri putri adalah Naila-Haniifah yang berhadapan Qisti-Raniya.Proses pemilihan dilaksanakan pada Kamis pagi hingga malam hari. Dari keseluruhan pemilih yang berasal dari seluruh warga Insan Mandiri Parung, maka Pasangan Calon Syamil-Zamzam memperoleh suara terbanyak dengan prosentase 74%, sementara Zufar-Ayyash memperoleh suara 26%. Sedangkan untuk hasil perolehan santri putri, jumlah perolehan suara Pasangan Naila-Haanifah sebanyak 68%, sementara Qisthi-Raniya sebesar32%.
Agenda pemilihan Ketua dan Wakil OSIS 2018-2019 ini ditutup dengan Pelantikan OSIS yang dilaksanakan pada Senin (27/8), yang dilantik langsung Kepala SMPIT Insan Mandiri Parung, Luthfi Zulkarnain, S.Th.I, M.Si dilanjutkan arahan atau pembekalan Pengurus Baru oleh perwakilan Badan Pengembangan Pendidikan Sekolah, Ust. Sapto Sugiharto, M.Pd.
